RACE OF CHAMPIONS
SUNDAY, August 24, 2008. (raindate, Sunday Sept 14) RoC is open to any driver who wins a race since the RoC 07 (August 26, 2007), any past LD class champion, and any previous RoC winner.
2008 SUMMIT TEAM FINALS
The Summit finals will be held at Pittsburgh Raceway Park Sept 25-28.
* Priority will be given to points members for 2008 Summit Team Finals.
* YOU MUST FILE AN APPLICATION TO GO BY August 22. Please let us know earlier if possible.
* Points for positions at Summit finals will end 8/22/08. No adjustment will be made after 9/5/08.
The number of cars from each class will be determined by the number of cars that join the points (in Quick 16, Top, Mod, Bikes/Sleds, Junior Dragsters and Street) We will announce the number of cars in each class that will be on the team on June 1st. If the top cars in each class decline to go, the track will fill the open spots based on the applications filed.
* The team picnic and meeting will be on Thursday, September 4th.
2008 Norwalk Halloween Classic
The Dunn Tire Raceway Park representative for the Halloween Classic will be the winner of the DTRP Race of Champions on August 24th.
